Unfortunately, the underglazer did not survive the kiln, resulting in the colors on the face being more muted than intended.

I was pleased with the execution of this idea in terms of the overall form, but definitely not how the color came out on the face.

With that in mind, I’m definitely not finished working on this to get the colors closer to the original idea.

Next step is to sand off whatever glaze and paint I can before reapplying a new layer of paint.
